What is the process when you buy an account?
- After you place your order, please come to live help.
- We will give you a phone call to verify your purchase.
- Once the order is passed, we will provide you with a WoW CD Key and a Burning Crusade key to create a new account. Creating a new account is necessary because it needs to match the original owner’s name to transfer the character - approx. 30 mins.
- Once your account is ready, we will need your help to create a character name on your desired server, with the same name as the original character we are transferring. This will allow you to pick a new name when you log in game for the first time with your purchased character (because the old name is already taken before the transfer) - approx. 5 mins.
- After that, you will need to transfer the character you have purchased from the original account to your new account, which usually takes about 30 minutes, depending on how quickly the WoW website responds.
- That’s it. You will be able to enjoy your new character right away.
How to avoid bannings?
To prevent an investigation and banning from Blizzard on second hand accounts bought at ToonStorm, you should:
- Never use any botting, automation or hacking program.
- Never buy currency or items directly on an account bought at ToonStorm. If you want to purchase currency or items safely, you should receive such purchase on your OWN original account, then preferably buy from with that account in the auction house and finally transfer the items to your newly bought character. Whenever you are trading currency between characters, make sure to exchange items for currency. Giving currency without anything in return (especially large amounts), can raise attention.
- Never buy any kind of powerleveling or skill leveling service on accounts bought at ToonStorm. Basically, never share your account information with 3rd party companies offering WoW services.
- Avoid sharing your account details with other people unless you have great trust in them.

All of our characters are purchased from individual players accross North America, Europe and Australia - which is why most of our accounts have full epics and high end gear.
Unlike many competitors, we do not buy pre-made powerleveled accounts from China with much shakier history (if you find out sites with a majority of low quality lev 70 characters with mostly rares/uncommons - these are the ones getting the majority of their accounts from China). Buying a pre-farmed account increases very much the risks of banning when GMs investigate the origin, account "age" and playing patterns of the owner. Which is why you can purchase accounts safely at ToonStorm without worrying about who played that character before you.
Overall, the IP address where your account is played is normally not a factor in investigations. Tens of thousands of WOW players move to new locations monthly, or play in the military or other remote areas. Therefore Blizzard cannot use IP location as a determining factor to ban an account.
